National Voter Registration Day 2015 (September 22)

On September 22, 2015, volunteers, celebrities, and organizations across the country will “hit the streets” to promote voting activities diromg National Voter Registration Day. On this day, volunteer, technology and social media efforts will align to enhance awareness regarding voter registration opportunities and the goal is for Urban League to reach thousands of voters, whom we could not reach otherwise.

YPN is excited to contribute to the national effort on a local level by canvassing Alexandria communities to register and re-register voters.  We’ll meet at our headquarters (1315 Duke Street in Alexandria, VA) at 5:00 p.m. and plan to “hit the streets” to engage nearby community members. We hope that you’ll join us in participating in this national effort!
