Black Opal Gala

YPN's annual Black Opal Gala is back! 

This year, Black Opal will feature a Black Royalty themed evening of style, decadence, and dancing, featuring live music, a dj, and a selfie station. Because YPN is committed to supporting Black businesses in Northern Virginia, Black Opal 2018 will feature a pop-up shop featuring eight Black vendors.

Black Opal will also honor young professionals who have provided exceeding service to better the Northern Virginia community. Nominations are being accepted for individuals who have excelled personally or professionally. Proceeds from this event will benefit:
