Food Drive (January 5, 2017- February 4th 2017)
Join YPN's food drive for AFAC’s backpack buddies program which provides weekend and holiday meal packs to homeless and food-insecure Arlington County school-aged children. Unfortunately for many local youth, school meals are the only nourishment they receive daily, so on weekends and over long holidays, the children often go without any food at all. That fact is why this food drive is so important to YPN! Will you donate and help us collect these very important meals? We will be collecting three items to contribute.  These items will be paired with other foods in the backpacks and there will be enough food in each pack to feed each child for two days (six meals, plus snacks).
