YPN at Taste of Arlington

The Ballston Business Improvement District’s 29th Annual Taste of Arlington is the largest food+beer+music+kids+dog festival showcasing the diversity of Arlington’s food scene and attracting nearly 40,000 people.  More than 50 of Arlington’s best restaurants and most exciting chefs will serve up their specialties at this year’s event.  The exciting and highly anticipated festival transforms downtown Ballston into a family-friendly street festival with dining, music and entertainment for all ages.

Charity recipients will be local 501(c)(3) organizations that may directly impact and improve the Ballston neighborhood and the lives of the people who live and work in the Ballston community.   Such organizations include but are not limited to:  the Arlington Food Assistance Center, the Arlington Street People's Assistance Network, Arlington Community Foundation, Doorways for Women and Families, Arlington Partnership for Affordable Housing, Arlington Arts Center, Animal Welfare League of Arlington and Phoenix House Arlington. 

YPN will be volunteering from 3:00-7:00pm at Taste of Arlington.

Responsibilities may include:

• Ticket collection
• Crowd direction
• Beverage sales
• Set up and clean up
• Bartending*

*Bartending is only available to volunteers over 21 years of age
